What... in the world.... Probably the saddest thing is I actually really like that song, big fan of Skrillex, and perhaps even sadder (I know I used saddest already), is that I kind of had nearly the same mental picture in my head the first time I listened to it.

Video of the Week
This embed probably won't work for long due to copyright nonsense, but for as long as it does... here's the reason I watched the Grammy's Eminem and Dr. Dre; However.... Skylar Grey was an amazing surprise, the girl can flat out sing - amazing voice.
**UPDATE: Rumor is that the song being sung by Rihanna and Eminem is Love the Way You Lie Part II which will be on Rihanna's upcoming CD.

Flash Mob
Not a KU fan. Period. But even I can't deny that this is pretty cool and worth sharing. I really want to go to a game a the Fieldhouse, I've heard it's an experience

Video of the Week
I know this is 2 videos this week but this was too hilarious and awesome to pass up. Leave it to dad to help the little fella out. Not going to lie at the age of 29, 95% of the time I walk through an automatic door I pretend I am using the force to open the door and of those times I'd venture that about 30% of the time I make a subtle and discrete hand motion. Nothing showy just a quick flick of the hand at about waist level.
May the force be with you, always.

Video of the Week
I've put some of FreddieW's videos up on here before, the guy does some pretty amazing things on YouTube this one is one of his newer ones and doesn't disappoint. I especially like his videos because they are action based and he's done several that are based on the first person shooter style of video games. As always if you like it you should check out his YouTube Channel for more great videos.

Friday Video of the Week
I've got a new favorite band. I know I jump around a lot on bands, but I have a feeling this one will have some staying power. I modeled a Pandora station around them and I can honestly say there has not been a song of there's yet that I have not liked. I plan on purchasing their entire catalog in the very near future. Below is their video for one of my favorites off their newish album Appeal to Reason. Now, I say newish, because it's been out since 2008 but I only discovered its awesomeness last year. Now I'd heard them before with 2004's Swing Life Away, which was a good tune, I mean I put it on the custom mix for the DJ to play at my wedding reception, but it really didn't hook me. It was 2010 in Minneapolis when I heard their song Savior and I got hooked. Guess I should pry tell you the band's name huh, the band is Rise Against and if you like the song below I recommend you fire up your Zune and get your hands on some more of their stuff, it's great (People still use Zunes right?). They're a bit political, which may turn some off, but even if you don't agree with the lyrics from a political perspective, you can't deny the music is fantastic.Saturday, November 20, 2010

Video of the Week
Maybe the best video game commercial I have ever seen... Kobe? and Kimmel with an RPG? no talking frog or horse with creepy human characteristics can top that.

Video of the Week
This video has me so very conflicted... I'm not sure if I should laugh or be a little excited? Probably because I can't tell if the girl is serious about thinking she's really flying.

Video of the Week
While I wouldn't say I'm a "YouTuber", I do subscribe to several (probably too many) YouTube channels. I know, I know, YouTube is just for funny videos, although I come across several that make me seriously question the sense of humor of some people. But all that aside a new channel that I subscribe to is called Black Box TV, now this is not a funny channel the creators are YouTube personalities I'm familiar with and they make videos that are horror/scifi ish in nature. But bottom line for only 3-5 min of video they are very very good. The most recent episode definitely warrants sharing, I swear this short video is better than the last 3 movies that would be in a similar genre, combined. If you like it I'd encourage you to subscribe to them so you can check out all the new ones.

Revolution Son
As I've mentioned before in this blog, over my life I've been fortunate enough to have known some great musical talents (Music and Me). KC has quickly proven to be no exception to that trend, enter David Seume. I've not personally seen him live at an actual show, although I have been witness to several impromptu jam sessions including 4th of July and Float Trip. Below is a video of a live performance, great song Revolution Son, it's a very solid tune that I'm a big fan of. Also, I put another Untitled track on here that he put up on his website, another very solid song. His music is available on iTunes, so if you like it you should for sure check it out there or on his site Seume.
